The 30 Year Old has been painstaking matured at Talisker to produce an elegant malt that shows a nose that is quite reserved with some nice fruit acidity from red apple skins and dried fruits. Sweeter notes toffee and caramel follow. The famous sooty smoke is discernable on the close. On the palate, this rare whisky displays subtle berry flavours and a hint of dried fruit.
